Hi guys, I really need some help. I'm just pricing up car insurance, I currently have a provisional licence and i take my driving test next week, I'm doing insurance quotes for a 2005 volkswagen polo s 55 petrol 3 door Manual car, and I've being looking at prices for provisional drivers and newly passed drivers and the prices are ridiculous. Provisional is coming in at approx 1300, which I can cope with for the year but as soon as I pass my test BAM! prices are looking at about 2,700. I've done everything right according to the advice in the internet, we have a secure garage, off-road parking, during the day it will be kept in a secure office car park. I heard the president speak after the Supreme Court ruled on the health care law and one point he brought out was that parents could have their 26 year old child included on their health care plans. Homeowners insurance question?

My father has homeowners insurance that covers the exterior buildings around his house, like a garden shed/ covered carport. this past weekend, a large snowfall provided too much weight for one building, and it collapsed. inside was a lawn mower and an antique automobile that dad has had since he was my age, and it was damaged by a metal beam. (think hot dog bun). the insurance company is now saying that they will pay for the repair of the building and for a new lawnmower, but not the car itself. it was not fully restored, but it was in fair working condition (meaning the engine works and the auto does move). does exterior building coverage also include everything inside, or does it have a limit? is the insurance company trying to weasel out of paying my father? if so, who should I call? (I'm in NC). please help! with good sources please!

No Deposit Car Insurance Companies?

Hi, I'm looking to get a car in a few months time but i am young so it's going to be really expensive. Even for a insurance group 1 Vauxhall Corsa it's like 2400-2600 and then they've got the cheek to ask for a 500 deposit so it's like 3000 for insurance. I'm sure you never used to have to pay a deposit it's ridiculous. Does anyone no any companies that offer no deposit car insurance? I did find one website that said MORE THAN don't want a deposit but everytime i try to get a quote it says sorry we cannot offer you a quote. Please help, Many thanks.
